Lord Krishna in Bhagwad Gita, IX-26, says “ Whosoever offers to Me, with love or devotion, a leaf, a flower, a fruit or water, that offering of love of the pure and self- controlled man is willingly and readily accepted by Me”I have the pleasure of writing my first blog on Shri Sai Baba-Who had done miracles during his Avatar at Shirdi, the remote village in Maharashtra district of India.
“ Do not be afraid, hold fast to the handle of knowledge of this mill, as I do, and do not wander far away from the same, but turn inward to the center, and you are sure to be saved”.
Now, this can be more explained in such manner, the handle being mentioned here is Dhyan-the consistency in devotion to Lord, while being leading a life fully devoted to almighty. The stones of the mill is termed as Karma being lower & Bhakti being upper. Lastly, the corn here is our worries, sins, pleasure & pain.
The self-realization of our life is not possible unless we grind our impulses, desires, sins with the help of our Karma & Bhakti by holding firmly our knowledge that is Dhyan.
The Philosophical Significance behind this scene is as follows:- We all have three qualities called Sattva, Rajas & Tamas ; so let these being crushed by our Karma & Bhakti. Than whatever outcome or the result will emerge from such grinding will be most useful to our society and life.
Request to Sai Devotees to do online booking for their Darshan, as this may save your time. Those who can not have to take Bio-metric based free darshan passes in order to make an entry to Shree Sai Samadhi temple. Shirdi is well connected with Indian rail & bus routes from all over India.
